How Is the GRE Scored?
The GMAT is scored on a range from 200 to 800, with scores reported in 10-point increments. This total score is derived from the Quantitative and Verbal sections only, which are both scored separately on a scale of 6 to 51, in one-point increments. The Integrated Reasoning section is scored from 1 to 8, in one-point increments, while the Analytical Writing Assessment is rated from 0 to 6, in half-point increments. These latter two scores are reported separately and do not contribute to the 200-800 total score. The GMAT's computer-adaptive format adjusts the difficulty of questions based on your performance, ensuring a precise assessment of your abilities.
What are the GRE Subject Tests?
The GMAT does not have "subject tests" in the way that other standardized tests like the GRE or SAT do. The GMAT is a general test designed specifically for graduate business school applicants to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in English. Unlike other standardized tests that might offer separate subject tests to gauge knowledge in specific areas (like physics, math, or literature), the GMAT focuses on skills deemed essential for business school.
However, for individuals looking to prepare comprehensively for the GMAT and enhance their skills in particular areas of the test, there are various courses and resources available that target the main sections of the GMAT. Here are three types of courses that can help:
Quantitative
Verbal Reasoning
Integrated Reasoning
By focusing on these areas through targeted courses, test-takers can work to improve their performance across the different sections of the GMAT, thereby enhancing their overall score.
What are the GRE Subject Tests?
The GRE Subject Tests, test your knowledge of a particular subject like Mathematics, Physics and Psychology. Not every school requires a GRE subject test, but many of the most competitive programs do. ETS offers the tests three times a year.
The GRE Subject Tests in Mathematics, Physics and Psychology are moving to a computer-delivered format in September 2023. The GRE Chemistry Test will be discontinued after the April 2023 administration

It's been approximate 4 years, since I am associated with Edugen Study. The best part was that even though the I have been associated for 4 years, the continued process of hand holding towards the goals was as just diligent as it was on day one. My counsellor, Ms. Pooja Sargam has been one of the most fundamental pieces to this puzzle called 'achieving your dream school'. My editor for all my application related documents - Ms. Pooja Sargam was more than just an academic figure, guiding me to visualise and pen down my dreams the best way possible. I wished to start my career from California in general and UC Berkeley in particular and all the people who contributed to this process were in sync with this dream.

I was the student for the GMAT classes in 2017. I am writing this message to thank Edugen trainer, who taught me quant. The trainer had helped me out in pulling up my score, by constantly giving me challenging questions, helping in clearing my doubt and sharing a new approach to save time in tricky questions. I gave GMAT in 2017, but scored 49/51 in quant, I got busy with my professional life and gave a GRE after a long gap in May 2020 and I scored 330(Q170, V160).
